Lyn Story, a kind-hearted 64-year-old Texan known for her selfless acts of kindness, has been rewarded with a brand-new car. Story, a retired Fort Worth resident, gained national attention for her dedication to helping needy neighbors by offering free rides.
Her Story first came to light when CBS Mornings highlighted her selfless service despite facing financial challenges. Story, which often used the Nextdoor app to connect with her community, became a lifeline for many, including April Goodwin, an ovarian cancer patient, and Kevin Horrigan, a blind individual. Inspired by her unwavering generosity, Philadelphia car dealer David Kelleher decided to recognize Story’s selfless acts. Kelleher, known for his philanthropic endeavors, surprised Story with a brand-new car and covered all expenses, from insurance to extended warranty.
Story named her new car “The White Knight,” a fitting tribute to the gift that would enable her to continue her mission of helping others.
