Boomer Takeaways

Alfred “Al” Blaschke, a 106-year-old from Texas, reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the oldest person to tandem skydive. On November 27, 2023, he completed a jump at 9,000 feet, accompanied by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Al initially broke the record in 2020 at age 103 but decided to skydive again after a Swedish woman briefly held the title. After his successful jump, Al encouraged people to believe in their capabilities. His family, media, and officials witnessed the event.
